Who we are
Reelfox (reelfox.co.uk) makes short-form videos for businesses. We are responsible for the personal information you send us through this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@reelfox.co.uk.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms: your website or social media link, business name, what you sell, phone number or email address, social media handle, and the plan you chose.
- We also store which plan, package, services and estimated total you chose.
- Product photos you choose to upload.
- Basic visit details: the campaign tags in the link you arrived from (UTM tags), the page that referred you, the page you landed on, and your browser type (user agent).
Why we use it
- To make your free sample videos.
- To contact you about your samples and about our services.
- To set up your plan if you sign up.
- To understand which of our adverts and links bring people to the site.
Our legal basis
Under UK GDPR we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (when you ask for samples or sign up for a plan) and on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, promoting our services and understanding how people find us.
Where it is stored
Your details and photos are stored securely with our hosting and database provider. Photos are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible. Only we can see what you send us.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for up to 24 months after we last hear from you, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner. If you become a customer, we keep what we need to provide the service and meet our legal obligations.
We never sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with service providers who help us run the business, such as our hosting provider.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you (access);
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong (correction);
- ask us to delete your information (deletion);
- object to us using your information, including for marketing (objection).
